"family trip. It was close to everything we wanted to do. We were able to walk to the beach for my daughter's soccer games. We were even able to call and let the hotel know we are running behind and won't be able to make the 12am check in deadline. They arranged for a late check in. For sure will come back! "

" The door at the end of the hall stays unlocked all the time. That was a little disturbing, but I never saw anyone who wasn't supposed to be there using it. The other thing that bothered me was: I made reservations several weeks before for a large group. Yet only when we showed up at the hotel were rooms picked out for us. "This hotel is very nice and up to date. Restaurant inside hotel with great food. Nice indoor and outdoor bar. Very nice clean pool. Right on the beach. Rooms are very nice and clean. The best rooms for view are beachside with balconies! Black Beard and Pier 99 are great restaurants in walking distance with live music. Nice hangout bar also in walking distance. Free fishing, jet ski rentals, canopy and chair rentals on beach. All affordable! The Uss Lexington ship museum is right out the beach side doors. The Texas Aquarium and Art museum are walking distance. Several beach shops within walking distance as well. Surprisingly not over crowded! Very nice vacation spot for anyone! Will be back! P.S. check in is at 4pm but typically you can go at 2pm and check in early for free as long as your room is ready. If not you can keep yourself busy at the beach and shops! ;)"
