“The four of us stayed at the Clontarf Castle Hotel for two nights just before our tour of Ireland. We had planned this stay for months and we were not disappointed. In fact, as we drove up the roadway to the hotel, we noticed the meticulously groomed gardens and sitting areas. it was wonderful first impression. “Situated in a beautiful area of Dublin, this hotel is extremely comfortable and equipped with amenities such as a shared patio off the room, air conditioning, a towel heater, and an assortment of hot drinks. The staff were welcoming and friendly with good recommendations. The area has great spots to eat and drink, including Searson's pub.”

“This is a nice hotel in a nice area. The good choice of restaurants on the street are a plus. The rooms are clean and well presented, although the view was of the carpark and there are some maintenance issues like the slow draining sink which needs looking into. The reception staff were pleasant but didn’t give us any further information other than our room number. A huge disappointment though is how housekeeping do not stand by the hotels eco friendly practices - towels which are left hanging……
