"Lovely grand entrance to the hotel - unfortunately not as grand in the room - very dated room / furniture. Bathroom cracked floor tiles / old bath with shower curtain.. Can’t understand why this has a 5* rating. I travel a lot - the room would pass for 3*. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food. "

"Entrance hall devoid of 'warmth'. You have to PUSH hard thro 2 big doors to get to foyer. With a bad shoulder, I was not happy. No flowers or comfortable sofas, chairs visible. Lift very 'commercial'. Bedroom not 'inviting'. Beds looked like 'kids' beds they way they were made up, casual. The window sill paint all broken, curtain had a 'lump' of material missing, right in the middle of curtain. No light over or on worn, old, used sideboard which held a telephone that was 'dead'. No guide...
