The neighborhood was a bit rougher than I expected. The tenants were lovely and I didn’t have any problems with anyone on site. Could use more trash disposal and cleaning. There was nothing essential or “boutique” about this place. There was no towels, no hand soap, no toilet paper, no air conditioning, NO NOTHING!! And the hostel manager was a jerk! Checking in with this guy was such a pain!! Always left me and a friend of mine on voicemail whenever we tried calling to check in. I hate how there was no front desk check in, it was all virtual, and the fact they didn’t offer free parking was just the worst. I’m constantly struggling to find a decent spot in the street without risking a parking ticket and I just did not wanna wait till the last day to leave this dump of a place. Me and a friend got out of there ASAP! The check-in process was unclear—phone calls went unanswered, and we had to ask nearby people for help. We later found out that instructions were posted on the door, but this was not communicated in advance. Once we contacted someone through email, the communication felt unwelcoming. The room itself did not match the photos online. It had an unpleasant odor, lacked cleanliness, and appeared very different from what was advertised. Based on what we saw and how we felt, we didn’t feel comfortable staying the night. We ended up booking another place and leaving immediately.
