“I had read reviews saying the property was clean. I was only looking for a place to sleep for myself and my daughter, as we would be leaving early to tour UF. I sent a message to the property letting them know we would be a late check-in, probably around 11pm. They said that was fine. I received an email that gave me the following information: Gainesville Lodge 3: (insert 4 numbers not leaving that information in case they re-use codes). We made it right before 11. Staff is only present 8a-8p. I……

“The room had bad bugs. When it was reported to the front desk they were unable to do anything about it. We contacted Expedia and they reported that the hotel staff indicated the room was is good order. Why would we leave a "good order" room at 11:30 at night..IT HAD BE BUGS OVER OVER THE SHEETS!”

“The place was so dirty, dead bugs everywhere. And hairrrr!!! I used my blow dryer to blow some of the dirt/hair/bugs off the ground. The place was just trash. I woke up everyday with stuffy nose, and breathing issues. Also weird activity in the parking lot there too if ya know what I mean. We also went to the pool, and the pool was green as the grass. The place needs to spend some money and revamp the place. New paint on the wall would help. Absolutely nightmare. Staff was so rude. Asked for……

“We booked this hotel for a concert in Gainesville. When we arrived, there was five couples standing outside waiting to register. All of us needed to get to the concert in order to find parking before got too late. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one couple to be processed. The gentleman who worked there was very nice, but was working with extremely limited resources. I think he did the best he could, but the rooms were substandard, dirty, and we didn’t get our room till 1:30 in the morning.……
