“Although the facility is a bit dated, they maintained it very well. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very attentive. The gardens are beautifully manicured; the view of the ocean is priceless - location is perfect for easy access to the island activities. Daily breakfast was quite a variety. The most outstanding part of service was the prompt attention of staff to secure our room with additional inner latches so that our autistic son could not open the doors easily on his own. I hope to return……

“We’ve been staying at the Kariwak since 1993. Not much has changed. It still has a plethora of birds and tropical flowers, the staff is still amazing and the rooms are still clean. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t for you but it’s beautiful just the same. We still love everything about it 32 years later. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Rooms and all the grounds were kept very clean and tidy. The staff was quickly responsive and friendly with all our needs. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool area was pristine for relaxing and swimming. although the restaurant only served breakfast (restaurant was not open lunch & dinner) and the swim up bar inside the pool was not open, staff was readily available at the bar, which is right next to the pool.
