“I traveled with hubby, sister & my elderly parents for a long weekend and to attend a wedding reception. The cabin was absolutely perfect. Everyone had a quiet & comfortable space of their own. We could have definitely had more people due to the spacious accommodations. .The setting is such so that you want to sit out on the front porch or back screened in porch (or fire pit area) and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings, trees & birds or walk down to the lake. “This is an amazing property to stay in. Loved the close proximity to Saugatuck and Douglas, yet just on the outskirts of town to enjoy the peace and quiet as well! Also well appointed if you are traveling with children and/or infants. The only drawback was that we were told there was a two car maximum per HOA guidelines. Eight of us jammed into two vehicles (including a 1 and 3 yr old so two car seats)with all of our things for an extended weekend. When we got there nearly every cabin had 3……

“As billed, it's a rustic cabin! Beautiful location right on a bend of the Kalamazoo River. Very close to Fennville and Saugatuck (7 and 15 minutes, respectively). The cabin itself, as has been mentioned in other reviews, is very bare bones and shows its age a little in places, but we found it to be clean and stocked with the necessaries. Probably wouldn't want to spend a rainy day cooped up in there but we lucked out with weather and spent the majority of our stay outside enjoying the scenic……

“We loved our stay. Plenty of room to be together, or to be separate. We grilled outside, made s’mores with the grands, enjoyed the activities (games, arcade) in the basement. Loved the little beach.”

“Our family was in town for a GVSU football game. The cabin is 10 minutes from the football stadium which made it very convenient. We had 4 families and the cabin was spacious enough that we were all comfortable. We'll be back for our next visit to GVSU!”
