“Highly Disappointing—Intense Nighttime Noise, No Facilities none ,and Unsafe for Families no staff on site. I was deeply disappointed with my recent stay at THE BUOY. My biggest issue was the constant, loud traffic noise that lasted all night, making it absolutely impossible to get a good night's rest. The property itself is just a small residential house renting out individual rooms, completely lacking standard hotel amenities. There is no pool, fitness center, or any other facility on-site.……

“The rooms, layout were good and very homely. Our family loved the stay and made the choice of stay for the next trip already. To list any negative was the plumbing -- pipe at bathtub was loose and over flowing, the bathroom shower flow. The host was very responsive and sent handyman immediately. Over all good place. The host should consider to lower the price, as they will not go vacant any time in year.”

“Had a great stay. Place was in a nice spot. Close enough to walk downtown. The room really could’ve used a microwave. Other than that it was nice place to stay. The AC was also very cold. There’s a terrace on the rooftop that was nice and enjoyable in the morning and night. The only thing that might be a problem for some is the traffic is super heavy at night. It can get pretty noisy. Yet that’s not the hotels fault. All in all it was a great place.”

“Shawn et Virginia ont fait que notre séjour fut merveilleux. Shawn a préparé rapidement la chambre. Virginie nous a fait le transport pour l'aéroport tôt le matin. Le lieu est calme et la chambre est magnifique avec sa terrasse extérieure. La cuisine complète permet d'y être plusieurs jours de façon confortable. La plage est tout près et il y a plusieurs restaurants intéressants à proximité.”

“I have no complains everything was clean it was very quiet a plus is the beach is walking distance food places closed by also a walgreens theres restaurants theres one 24/7 Los Pinos Café amazing food. Another thing that I liked was the communication was very quick. And also another thing that will always stay with me is that the lights went out in the neighborhood the day before we had to check out. I sent a message a response was received very quickly and the staff moved us to another property……

“I'd like to start by saying I gave this property four stars.. the pictures were exactly what I expected... The check-in was easy.. the bed was super comfortable.. the only thing I didn't like was the floor was like a painted Gray cement floor and it was kind of on the dirty side I would even have appreciated some area rugs by the beds and the bathrooms but that's just me other than that it was great I would definitely go back!!”

“Beautiful property, super close to the beach, and a perfect place for couples. Even with the water issues in San Juan right now we were very well taken care of here!”
