“Staff are excellent, food was great value, large portions and very tasty. Included Breakfast was great value. Room was clean and tidy. Only downside was the bed was very hard and uncomfortable for my wife and I. Great destination for a stopover during a journey or quick visit to Bamburgh and the surrounding area. ”

“We had a fantastic stay at this quirky and beautiful hotel. Even though we had booked the petite double room it didn't disappoint. As hotel rooms go it wasn't small. Beautifully decorated with beautiful ornate furniture and very comfy bed. Tea , coffee and water replenished every day. The breakfast and food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were excellent, lovely and friendly. We would definitely go back. ”

“Kindly allocated us a ground floor room when they noticed my husband had mobility issues. Room was spotless, food was excellent and all staff really friendly. Will certainly return for another visit”

“This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. “This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries. The downsides - we had to call a……

El restaurante sirve comida de calidad y las raciones son enormes. Nos atendieron estupendamente. La zona es preciosa. Esta vez nuestra estancia tuvo que ser corta pero esperamos volver para disfrutar más tiempo del lugar. ”
