"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at editory Ocean Way funchal . The rooms were very comfortable, we got a beautiful balcony with Ocean View that was spectacular. The hotel is definitely a five star . Love the bathrobes and the slippers to be able to go to the spa . Luxurious pool towels were provided. And special call out for Andrea, Mikaela and Sophia at the front desk, and Catarina in the restaurant. We prearranged a number of excursions and they helped us with all the arrangements. Great selections. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again."

"★★★★★ Exceptional Hospitality at RIU Madeira! We had a wonderful experience at RIU Madeira Resort! We arrived at the hotel before 9 AM, and even though our room wasn't ready yet, the staff warmly welcomed us and allowed us to enjoy the resort's amenities and breakfast right away. What impressed us even more was the flexibility on our departure day. Since our flight wasn't until 10 PM, we were allowed to continue enjoying the resort's facilities, relaxing, and having snacks even after checking out. This level of hospitality and flexibility made our stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. For this exceptional hospitality alone, RIU Madeira deserves five stars! Highly recommended!"

"Very nice and spacious hotel room. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating whenever we had any questions or requests. The breakfast buffet was great too with lots of variety to choose from, as well as staff members clearing tables and providing utensils very quickly."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at castanheiro boutique. The staff were the best, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was the best welcoming of our trip from the front reception staff. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The views were amazing and staff were top notch. We also enjoyed the happy hour and had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. One of our best dinners in Madeira! We greatly enjoyed our stay the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be recommending the hotel to others and hope to come back and enjoy in the future. Thank you. "When we checked in the room we were given had a broken door so we were moved to another room. The room we were changed to was not the same as what we paid for. We paid for a double sea view and had a corner view instead. We made the best of it. We enjoyed our stay and the nightly entertainment. The buffet had a different theme each night which was nice. The poor area was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs. The beach and ocean are right there with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 onsite restaurants which are included with your stay. We only ate at one of them and the food was very good. The resort is very family friendly and has a lot of amenities geared to the children. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it."
