There's heaps to do in Marina, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Book a set of wheels and you can explore the greater area at your own speed. Add these awesome places to your itinerary:

• You'll discover Malecon La Paz and loads of other intriguing sights in La Paz. From Marina, it's about 90 miles away.
• Your next pit stop? Consider East Cape, which is around 40 miles away. San Jose del Cabo Art District is one local hot spot you shouldn't miss.
• Make your way to Culiacan Botanical Garden to rediscover nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From Marina, it's around 210 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Mexico, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. A few other things to note to rent a car internationally are:
