When you've visited all of the terrific places in Paraiso Escondido, there's plenty more to see in the region. Pick up the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and get out on the open road. We've come up with some drives we know you'll enjoy:

• Make tracks to La Paz for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. About 90 miles from Paraiso Escondido, it's home to numerous cool sights, including Malecon La Paz.
• Your next stop? Make it East Cape, which is around 40 miles away. San Jose del Cabo Art District is one local highlight you shouldn't miss.
• Find your way to Culiacan Botanical Garden to rediscover nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just recharge your batteries in the fresh air. From Paraiso Escondido, it's about 210 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Mexico, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:
