This was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The room was very spacious with a sink area with fridge and microwave. Large bathroom with great shower. Very close to hiking, shops, restaurants and small grocer. We will definitely return.

Property was the most conveniently located to everything. Easy parking and check-in. The room itself was warm, clear, and updated. Fully equipped with fridge, microwave, tv and wi-fi. Ill make this my go-to when I visit every year.

Second year that we stayed here. It is a comfortable, clean room, the customer service at the front desk is great and we will certainly be back. There are few amenities, it is not a luxury hotel but it is a great value for the money and it is quaint and a nice place to stay. It is close to shops, stores and restaurants and right on the main road. Don't overlook this motel, it is well worth the stay.

This motel is under rated, it has been renovated and under new management and is an outright bargain.

When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! The Pinkham house, basically an apartment over the office, was very clean, roomy and had everything we needed and then some. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we knew where the best place to eat, shop and...

Amazingly hospitable hosts and very cozy room! .... Bathroom sink took forever for hot water but the shower didn't and had AMAZING water pressure!

Nothing new or fancy, but a solid well kept place to stay. Kids enjoyed the clean pool, and the staff was quite pleasant!

The room was nice and large. Beds were great. Location was fine. Overall, I will give it a mark of B.

Amazing is a good word for it. Friendly check in, marvelous guest lounge with cooking facilities, free coffee, tea, cocoa, couple hundred books, lots of land all around including woods(good for walking dog), comfortable roomand beds, microwave and frig real helpful to those who prefer, like us, eating in, All in all, it will be our go to place for future trips to visit Maine cousins!

Great place for a weekend stay

Most comfortable mattress! Room was very clean, decor could have been a little happier. Staff was fabulous, grounds were impeccable, overall a very reasonable and charming place to stay. Santa's village just down the street. Beautiful view of the Presidentials. National forest hiking trails at your doorstep!

Property, while having stunning mountain views just outside your door, had a nostalgic charm to it. I don't know how they do it, but the tub, sink etc seem like they were plucked right out the 60s, but are still in excellent condition. Same for the mid-century modern desk and nightstand. Guess that's a testament to the very personable and hard working staff taking great care of the place. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
