“The room was very clean and the accommodation was very comfortable. There were various restaurants across the street and the parking space was very large.”

“The main are of the cottage was nice, plenty of room to move around while having a king sized bed in the middle. Bathroom was a bit rough with age but overall functional. Pool area looked clean and nice; only stayed for a night and didn’t get to enjoy it. Check-in was a little at first confusing, if you used Expedia or other 3rd party sites, but calling them directly made everything easier to get number and code for the cottage. The cottages were centrally located to all the nice shops and……

“The property was perfectly located in Meredith. Our at the Palmer Inn was on the bottom level near a utility closet, the room was very noisy with mechanical noises and the rumbling of the a/c. I would stay at Mill River again but I would try another one of the properties.”

“The place didn't look dirty but had an unpleasant odor. We had a room on 2nd floor,there is no elevator or even the wheeled carts to bring in your things. We have a child in a wheelchair they said we could have handicap room on 1st floor for extra 30. We already paid but didn't want to carry everything up stairs so paid the extra. The pool was freezing and there was no bathtub or railings by commode in their handicap room. We go so the kids can swim, but pool is not heated. Breakfast”

“Overall everything was great”

“Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. It’s like we were an annoyance to her this……

“The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it……
