"This is a great location for downtown Allentown, you can walk to a lot of places. We felt safe in the neighborhood and had no problems with moving in or out of the house. The rooms are big, so there is plenty of space. It is an older home, so the steps are squeaky and there are other minor old house details. We love older homes and found it charming in many ways. "Communication prior to our stay was excellent. All questions were answered very promptly. We were a bit concerned about parking because our family had two cars but it was not an issue as there is a parking garage a few blocks away that we used for the second car. "Fruit flies in the sink, dead bugs throughout the house,and a sticky residue on everything in the kitchen, including the floors. When this was brought up, owner had excuses as to why, and told me that with window AC units she couldn't keep bugs out. Madam, I have stayed in cabins in the woods without dead bugs. Through this app! Refused a partial refund and we wound up staying at a hotel instead. Oh and this was for a funeral which made the event even worse. "

"The Snurfer House was a pleasure to stay at. Everything was clean and organized. Beds were comfy. We had enough rooms for our unmarrieds to each have their own. Daughter enjoyed the tub in the upstairs bath; big fan of the rain shower in the master bath! Amenities like fire pit and hot tub were nice to know about, but we did not take advantage since it was so hot! Thank you for opening your house to guests!"
