“The door did not shut all the way, so there was no need for the key or even to turn the door handle to open it. I put furniture against it to keep it shut at night, but if I had to leave the room, anyone could go in. This was very scary for a single mother and child. The entire bottom of the door was damaged as if from flooding or a dog scratching on both sides. The microwave malfunctioned in many ways, including continuing to microwave with its door open (very dangerous), so I unplugged it. I……

“Beautifully refurbished 1854 home with so much heart put into every detail . Heather and Jason were such friendly and accommodating hosts. We enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning followed by a walk around charming Holden. We’d definitely recommend a stay here!”

“Breakfast was great a lot of choices. The room was big and comfortable. It had everything you need for a nights stay. The pool was clean and accessible. My kids loved the basketball court. We were also able to use the grill and had burgers and hot dogs. I would recommend this place for a quick get away. There is a gas station just steps away and a dunkin donut inside!”

“I was here for a school visit with my boyfriend! The front desk staff was extremely nice and sweet, our flights arrive late in the night and I felt so sorry that we had to woke this poor man up. The room is clean and comfy, would definitely recommend this!”

“We had a very brief stay. Our only complaint was that the heat was so high that we had to open the window. We tried lowering the thermostat with minimal results. (i will say that they offered us a room change but it was so late that we declined.)”

“Hotel was nice, good location. Biggest problem is that they don't tell u they charge u 2x plus. There is a charge for being at the property and over $100 in taxes. Then for the room with another $80 in taxes. Parking is $69/ night. (Of course taxed). They have a nice handicap parking area. Very few carts for # of rooms. We were packing 1 and they took the cart with things on it without even knocking!”
