“Mes amis et moi avons organisé un grand dîner au château à l’occasion du nouvel an, les lieux étaient parfaits. Le château est très charmant et décoré avec goût. Il y a une grande cuisine et un grand service (assiettes, verres, couverts…) ce qui est pratique pour organiser un dîner. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et à l’écoute. Seul bémol, le chauffage en hiver. Nous recommandons à tous les amateurs de belles propriétés et d’histoire (ancienne demeure de Lavoisier ☺️) !”

“There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....

“Very unique experience! It felt as though we had stepped back in time. You truly feel like you are living in a 16th century manor complete with interesting antiques. The pool is well maintained and the kids had a great time exploring the grounds and surrounding gardens and storage/cave areas that are part of the structure. ”
