Paying $210 for baggage fees was rather nuts

Feb 21, 2018

I had to pay $50 total to get my bag checked, because that is the rule with the economy ticket I purchased...with my own money, not corporate dollars. When I got on the plane almost everyone had at least two carry-on items. Then I had to wait for all these people to juggle their two bags when getting off the plane. It was clearly feasible for me to save the $50 and bring the bag on board. I think you should charge people to bring their bags on board, and make it free to check the bags. That way people pay for the perceived benefit of having all the stuff with them. When in actuality, it's all wasting people's time....and my hard earned money.

We were delayed several hours because of storms, which was troublesome, but not airline’s fault. They did a good job of dealing with it.
