“What a beguiling mix of eccentricity and sharp esthetic sensibility. The details can be odd, but they are all clearly connected by the couple's personalities. My room (Middle Eastern) was bright and comfortable. Last night, I appeared to be alone in the place, with its proximity to potentially menacing dolls in a crib (and deep, looming shadows down the entryway). “Beautiful and spacious room, artfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the TV allowed us to stream our favorites. We enjoyed our two nights there and will stay again when we are in the area. A lovely and economical alternative to a hotel.”

“This was my second stay here in a month while passing through. Clean and comfortable!!”

“The Walnut in is a charming little hotel off I40 that my dog and I stopped at for a quick overnight that ended conning two nights. It was wonderful. So clean, cute, the staff were amazing and there was the best little diner right next door! Casino across the way but we didn’t go over! The price was fantastic and really I can’t say more wonderful things about it! 10/10 for me!”

“Just fell asleep an hour was bitten by bedbugs woke up, the whole body was bitten, had to go to the car to sleep”

“Two of us had to go to Van Buren and I made reservations thru Expedia when I called to let them know we were in town they couldn’t find my reservation when I called back to see if it show up in system lady said she couldn’t reach me and my card declined so she canceled my reservation. I told her that wasn’t possible it showed pending. She said it would come off in a day or two. When we arrived at motel my friend paid and we left next morning. Once I got home I checked my account and payment……

“The building itself is a bit dated one of the elevator is broken, and seems to be broken for a while The running water fall between the two elevators give the hotel a smell of chloride The room is clean, no fridge in the room Shower head is slightly moldy Room decor seems ‘70ish ”

“Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We loved how the mini fridge had a small freezer. We were a little sad that the hot tub was under construction during a stay, but that would not stop us from staying again. The breakfast provided was well stocked with a variety of items and everything was fresh and hot. We will stay here if given the chance to come back to Stilwell again.”
