“Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.”

“We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. “Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. “We had a great stay here, it’s excellent value for money. Jim was a fantastic, friendly host. The breakfasts were nice, though we could have done with better vege options. The location is convenient, including proximity to bus routes and trains for exploring the area. Overall we would happily go back!”

“Very good stay in a lovely pub and hotel. Diner was very good, most of all the starters. Breakfast was okay, could have been better with fresh pastries for example and options for cappuccino or latte. Room was very spacious and well decorated. The only down side was that it was a bath only with no curtains and therefore water ended up everywhere. Nice and helpful staff”
