"The property was beautiful and clean. Communications with the host were easy even though we didn’t speak Italian. Host was very responsive to our questions and responded immediately. A/C functioned well in the bedrooms. There were many beautiful areas to relax outdoors. The town of Cima was lovely and we had really good meals at the local restaurants. "Rented this spot in Ticino and it worked out perfectly. Walking distance to a bakery/coffee shop. Had a great meal at Ristorante Sport. Migros grocery store is right down the street. Small village of 1500 people. Close drive to Lugano and only an hour drive to Malpensa airport. The views of the lake are fantastic."

"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"If you want an excellent host that goes above and beyond this is the place to stay. Beautiful views and clean, spacious accommodations. If you have bad knees or health problems it may be difficult ."
