“First I want to say that I love that this hotel is not all modern and shiny. I love the lighthouse decor and the quilted, homey comforters. The views of the lake are great and it’s right on the Mariner’s Trail. All but one of the staff members that we met were great. “Parking lot is ample but a little rough looking. Landscaping could use some love to improve first impression. Lobby is fine but beware that any activity there (like a soccer team party) is easily heard in the first few rooms off the lobby, especially on the 2nd floor. Check in was smooth and staff pleasant. Room was reasonably clean and comfortable but blinds were broken, chair was splattered in paint and bedside lamp was missing a bulb and non-functional. Can’t report on pool or breakfast but……
