I normally like all Hampton Inns, that is why I booked it. However, I was unaware that this Hampton Inn was under construction. There was no warm breakfast like normal. When my daughter was getting our luggage, a man came off the elevator with his luggage saying that there was no heat in his room. The manager said that he would go up to check on it, but he was a little perturbed. My daughter brought the firestick to hook up on their TV. While setting it up, the message kept coming up that we needed a password. We put in the one that they gave us, but it continued not to work. So my daughter went downstairs to return the luggage rack and asked the manager about it. Again, he was not happy to come back upstairs. We were tired since we drove 5 hours from Michigan and it was now 9 pm, so my daughter also talked louder than normal because he was not listening to us and wouldn't let us show him the problem. He kept yelling to listen to him. When trying to explain the problem, he got angry and said he was going to call the cops on us and that we had to leave right then. I said I would want my money back and he said that that wouldn't happen. I then called the Hilton customer service and they did say that we couldn't get our money back from them. We would need to get it back from you. The manager did call us back and said that we could stay the night. This just added to our stress since we came to Ohio for a surgical consult. I still think we should get some compensation from you.
