Stayed there for one night after dropping off my daughter at Virginia Tech. Really pretty property, pool is well maintained, and breakfast (made by Sherry!) was fantastic - get the ham cups! Great stay, responsive owner (we accidently locked ourselves out of our room and Paul was super helpful) overall would highly recommend

Such a nice stay. The room was very clean and new. The shower was not only beautiful but the water pressure was fantastic. It was also very quiet. My only complaint was the bed was really firm. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.

Checked into a fantastic room with an elevated ceiling and skylights that had blackout shades operated from a switch on the wall. High end finishes, very comfortable bed and linens. Location was walkable to everything we had planned and needed. Unloading zone by front door was great and found free weekend street parking steps from the entrance. Would definitely stay again.

The property definitely needs some TLC. Next to none nearby good food or drink. Bathrooms smelt like urine. I've stayed in historical homes before that didn't smell as bad as this one. My room was 80 degrees and wouldn't go down in temp. No friendly staff to greet you.
