What a wonderful place to stay. Rose was incredibly responsive and flexible, making checkin and checkout easy, and making sure I had everything I needed. The geodesic dome is incredibly cozy, with a wonderful kitchen for cooking, a warm wood stove, and a great living area for sitting and enjoying the forest and mountain views. Afternoon walks on nearby trails were great, and the commute to Portland was easy. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

It is in a beautiful natural setting and has a comfortable and rustic feel.

Rooms are very spacious and clean and well thought for older folks like me. Bathtub is easily accessible with ample handrails and low sides. They even provide handrails around the toilet

The owners are friendly and engaging, and the room was clean and pretty.

What a unique house. Situated in the Wind River Experimental Forest research complex, the remodeled forest service cabin is a unique experience. Incredible views, secluded and quiet. Was a great way to get away for the weekend. Only thing missing was some outdoor furniture to sit on the front yard and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We were able to stay a week in this home away from home and had an excellent, relaxing time! Jennifer was very prompt in getting back to me regarding questions and was very accommodating to our 3 children 2 and under! In addition to having some kids books there, she also provided 2 pack-n-plays (both brand new!) and a highchair. The first thing we noticed upon entering was how clean everything was! It felt very much like going home to my old house in the mountains and it did my heart good. The only thing I would say to make sure and bring is some extra kitchen supplies (can opener and cookie sheet) if lile me you're planning on cooking most meals in the house for a week. Most other kitchen things were provided however and all looked brand new! Thank you again for everything! We hope to come stay again some day! Ps- above was a negative review regarding locals. I went into town several times and never felt unwelcome. Everyone was friendly and kind.

Cute, eclectic place with enough amenities to make it comfortable.

We were here during the off season, so the park was far from full but it wa a very nice place to stay.
