“We had a great stay here. The views are simply amazing and the pool area is lovely to pass a relaxing few hours. We thoroughly recommend staying at Villa La Ventana for a wonderful place to explore both the Amalfi coast and Sorrento peninsula. You need a car to make the most of the location but well worth being away from the main tourist hustle & bustle. “Terrible experience overall. As a solo female traveler, I felt like a second-class guest. The staff were generally disrespectful, impatient, and unhelpful. Very few employees spoke English, and communication was extremely difficult throughout my stay. The worst experience happened at a restaurant where I planned to have dinner. Due to a misunderstanding with my order, a staff member apparently entered it incorrectly. An older man from the kitchen then came out carrying a huge fish and loudly……

“The location is very good, where the entrence of the city of Pompeii is just next to the hotel. Free parking is provided. The garden is fascinating where lots of home planted lemon trees are all around. You can take lots of great photos in this fascinating garden at night. Dishes were excellent especially the Napoli pizza.”

The views from our balcony suite are simply breathtaking — the panoramic vistas over the Tyrrhenian Sea and the coastline are unlike anything I've ever seen. Waking up to that scenery every morning for four nights was an experience I'll never forget. The suite itself was incredibly spacious — well-appointed, elegant, and with the tower balcony adding a truly special touch. It felt like a private retreat……

“酒店本来是个大家庭，房间很多，客人就我们一行6个人。正好意大利假期，他们大家庭聚会，很热闹。 酒店窗外就是大海，漂亮!房间也舒适，不错。 我们到达第一天的晚餐也是在酒店里，性价比很高，大厨应该就是他们家的老爷子，手艺高! 早餐是老婆婆负责的，水果盘上盖了一块布，只有几个干瘪的橘子放在显眼的地方。我要求拿布盖着的香蕉，老婆婆很不高兴的掰了个都已经发黑的递给我。我们用餐的时候，老婆婆很大声的打电话，一点都不理会我们这些客人。果汁，牛奶，酸奶量很充裕，咖啡也有好几个口味。只是，第二天，咖啡机坏了，老婆婆脸色更加难看。 以为是温泉，实际上只是一个很小型的带冲浪的游泳池而已，桑拿房也没有暖气。”

“I had to change the room due to terrible WiFi connection and unbearable noise from neighbors room due to old plumbing system. The second room has better WiFi but only one electrical socket is useful. And you can not use iron and the kettle at the same time as the circuit breaker will shut off! And the bathroom floor is very slippery. I almost fell down a few times. Only beautiful part is the top roof terrace. ”
