"This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used...

"I called to confirm with the property that my reservation was canceled. I spoke with Expedia who shared they would reach out but I wanted to be safe and follow up. I spoke with Barbra, who was amazing. Actually someone who should be running the place after my experience. She advised I call in the morning and speak with Mike or Kim - the managers on site. Unfortunately she wasn’t familiar with policy as she’s new and still in training. I called the next morning to connected with Kim. I explained that my dad had passed away and I needed to cancel my reservation. She shared that unfortunately my boyfriend called prior so she isn’t able to cancel it. We would be charged for 1 night. I was later not only charged for the first night, I was also separately charged (authorization request from Kim’s processing) in the amount of the full stay ($465+). I called to address this matter and Kim claimed I wasn’t charged. What Kim doesn’t know is they both me and my boyfriend have experience as managers in hospitality. She certainly didn’t have to authorized the card on file for the full amount of the stay since we had not checked in AND considering occupancy she wouldn’t have an issue booking the room at a prime rate even for a walk in. I would like for this experience to encourage a reward or recognition for an employee like Barbra and training and development for Kim. Thanks in advance."

"WONDERFUL STAY, COMFORTABLE BEDS AND CLEAN ROOMS. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT WITH OUR STAY, LOVED THE SPACIOUS LAYOUT OF THE ROOMS AND BATHROOM. ALL AMENITIES WERE INCLUDED WITH EXTRA PILLOWS AND BLANKETS. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE TOILET, IT'S NOT FOR ADULTS, WAY TOO SMALL. WE WILL DEFINITELY BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN IN THE FUTURE."

"This was the perfect stay for our friend trip! Both of the houses had everything we needed for a great stay. We made multiple meals in the kitchen, used the hot tub and sauna, and enjoyed a few campfires! It was a rainy weekend but we really made the best of it and the view was gorgeous regardless. The houses are also close to town (less than 10 minute drive), an alpaca farm, and Holiday Valley. We would definitely stay here again! A couple things to note for future guests - the guest house spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge for anyone who doesn't have great knees or balance - it's very narrow. There are stairs on the outside of the building so you can use those to go upstairs, it's just not as convenient. The Wi-Fi in the guest house is a bit weak, but that didn't affect our trip too much, just something to consider. Some of our friends said their pillows were a bit too soft for their liking, so it might be a good idea to bring your favorite pillow if that would bother you. Other than those small things, we had a wonderful time and thought both houses were very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Thank you so much for your hospitality!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The new design gives the entire place a fresh, modern feel, and everything seemed updated and brand new. The rooms and common areas were clean, stylish, and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but it had everything we needed to get the day started before heading out. One of the biggest highlights for us was the EV chargers at the hotel. Being able to charge our electric car overnight and wake up ready for the next day made our trip so much easier and more convenient. Overall, a very comfortable and thoughtful stay, and we would happily stay here again!"
