“We stayed at this lovely North Auburn cabin from September 5–7 and had a great experience. The location was ideal — tucked away in the woods for a peaceful retreat, yet still close enough to downtown Sacramento, where we had plans for the weekend.The cabin itself has a cozy, rustic charm with impressive modern updates throughout. “Communication with host was absolutely terrible. Messaged host 8 hours prior to arriving as we were given two different check in times and had a rehearsal dinner to get ready for so needed to know what time was accurate. No response. 30 min prior to arriving tried to call (several times and two different numbers that were provided) and left voicemail to clarify check in time and still no response. Finally 30 minutes after our check in time we received the entry instructions (after we already……

“It was a great stay for 5 senior women. There was a concern about the stairs leading to the property but the host quickly addressed that concern. The drive around the cabin leads right to the front door, excellent. The cabin was very clean and plenty of supplies available. If I had one recommendation it would be for a night or security light for those times you have to make your way down the hall to the restroom. Thank you again for the stay.”

The location was perfect for our golfing trip, just a short drive to Apple Mountain Golf Resort and about an hour scenic drive along Highway 49 through beautiful Gold Country to The Ridge Golf Course in Auburn.The house had ample room for four adults, with space to spare.
