“I found our room was a little worn out. The rugs definitely need to be shampooed. They were marks on the walls, a paint job would help. No Kleenex in the room and only one coffee pouch. Bed was comfortable. Had to ask for the bathroom light to be replaced. It was done speedily.”

“Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road……

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“We received a welcome package for our dog on arrival, which was very thoughtful. The location is great, close to the beach, restaurant and bakery. Overall, great experience”
