“Very helpful staff. There were a couple of small issues when we arrived and staff fixed them quickly and courteously.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Golden was a great base for exploring the mountains, Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake, waterfalls, and hiking trails. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it.”

“Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road……

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“Beautiful apartment with everything you could need for a short break, we wish we could have stayed much longer! It was spotlessly clean, cosy and loved the mountain and river view from the balcony. Location was excellent with short walk to cafes, supermarket, shops and centre of Golden. Would highly recommend staying here over any hotel in Golden area.”
