“Easy to find, parking available. Clean room and lovely garden to relax in. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming and relaxed. Quiet property and a good location as it is only 3 miles from Dunster.”

“Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch.”

“I booked a double room which was so small. It had a dreadful view over an alley and roof top. So not desirable in any way. The room had a small fan - there is no air conditioning - we roasted - it was so so hot unbearable. With two adults in such a small room with no air-conditioning terrible. What made it worse was that there is a heated towel rail in the bathroom that was permanently on which you could not turn off so the small bathroom was so hot and made the room even worse. The upside...

“My room had not been hoovered; really uncomfortable bed and there was a constant dripping noise overnight - terrible night sleep.”

“Clean comfortable room although basic. We were up in the eaves so had to sit in the bath to shower which wouldn’t work for a tall person! However the food was absolutely amazing and really good value. Would definitely recommend.”

“Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. ”
