“Lovely stay, rooms located separate from the pub to keep noise down. Staff were brilliant and very reasonably priced.”

“The pub was in an ideal location and although on a busy road, we were not bothered by any traffic noise. The staff seemed rushed off their feet and we waited a while for our food with no offer of being able to order another drink whilst we were waiting. However, this has not put us off returning as the food and accommodation was excellent and the staff were very friendly.”

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“No welcome.Not informed restaurant was closed at 6 pm. Staff not friendly. Nobody around to unlock doors for exit in the morning. Room unclean, dusty,old dirty shower curtain.one towel for two people. No information for WiFi password. Dirty tea and coffee facilities.overall a really unpleasant experience! Would not recommend”

“The parent in laws stayed and said it was a lovely large place and the host was lovely but although booked though here it went through Sykes cottage and no response from them when messaging. Mother in law offered recommendations to host of fresh eggs would be nice and a welcome pack but said they had been left a sponge cake which was a nice touch but only one toilet roll. And although it was very much out of the way they said it was lovely and they would go back.”
