"We loved staying at Rustic Roots! We enjoyed watching the sea otters, seals and walking on the beach. The cabin is right on the water giving us incredible views of Resurrection Bay. The cabin was very clean and had all the necessities. We will definitely stay again if we make it back to Seward."

"If you’re headed to Seward this is the absolute best place to stay. I am absolutely in love with this quiet remote place. It is nicely tucked away in the middle of the woods. The owner Gary is usually in the office when you enter. He is warm, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. He had two assistants that were equally as pleasant and helpful. The cabins were well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The place was safe, well kept and just a dream get away for anyone...

"The property was beautiful! Couldn’t ask for a more scenic and serene environment… Until… 5 o’clock in the morning. The people who live upstairs were running up and down the stairs going outside, slamming the front doors This happened on more than one occasion after midnight, loud talking and slamming of doors. No I’m not opposed to that during the day, but when people are trying to sleep… That’s not a problem in the daytime, you heard basically nothing from them but at night it was very loud...
