We spent a lot of time on the patio off our room, which was beautiful, and walked along the stream/river at the back of the hotel lawn. The staff was pleasant and helpful. “Sehr schönes Hotel, optisch top. Zimmer zwar klein, aber auch superschön. Leider ziemlich hellhörig und Restaurant/Essbereich sehr klein. Es war aber alles super organisiert und das Essen an sich war wirklich sehr gut, wir haben dort gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Das Personal war am ersten Abend irgendwie komisch drauf, als hätten sie Stress miteinander. Dadurch wirkten sie irgendwie unfreundlich. Am Morgen waren aber alle sehr freundlich und nett.”

“Exceptional service from the staff (Kim, Lisa and Declan were so helpful) from arrival to departure. Food was very good- great breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea. The rooms were lovely. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Overall it felt luxurious and personal. Highly recommend.”

“Great accommodation. The hosts has put a lot of effort and thought into there bedrooms to ensure you have a great stay. Only down side is the walk up the step hill from the front. But it is only a short walk. But the view is stunning.”

“Whisky vaults has a great bar with live music, if we hadn’t been staying we would have missed a really good night. Room was clean with a comfy bed although the bathroom was very compact with very little room to manoeuvre. We had booked room only but were given a breakfast bag at check-in which was an unexpected surprise.”

“The property is beautifully decorated, carpetedand furnished, could not be better. The towels, the bathroom all exceptional. The extras such as coffee machine (not that I like all that pod stuff) but fresh milk and chilled water in the mini fridge, all great.”

“Stayed in single room..very small but bed very comfortable. Could do with curtains in room as blind very light or make sure bring eye mask and ear plugs needed ..very noisy from adjacent rooms. ”
