“Wonderful apt in the heart of Oban close to ferries, trains, shops and restaurants. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Cereal, milk, coffee and teas were provided which was a nice touch and very welcoming.”
“Comfortable bed, clean room. Room very small and had to crab around. Room overlooked kitchen extraction fan filling the room with frying smells. Booking in was difficult through the main door and had to check in though the bar at the back. Ok once we found the bar.”
“Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses.
And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place……
“This was an ideal place for an overnight stay before the ferry. Although the room is compact it is comfortable and well-equipped. I emailed before arrival and was sent the code to open the door (although we couldn't get it added to Google wallet, the web app worked fine, which was a relief arriving in torrential rain). Although there is some noise from people coming and going, this did not go on late and we slept really well. Room was clean and had air con. No parking but many car parks in Oban……
“We did not have a good experience for the high price we paid. The communication with the manager was not great and there was no person at the guest house to check in with. The room was tiny..absolutely no place to put 3 large suitcases except on the floor. The room had a chemical smell that did make our friend ill. We had to leave early as she thought it was pneumonia but it was from the chemical smell..she is handicapped. We had to climb in the window to get back in after getting take away for……

“This hotel is not suitable for disabled people as there is no lift on the ground floor but there is one on the first floor. Over all speaking as a disabled person the value for the few days I spent there too high .would I return no”

The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
“The property was as represented, and the view from the windows was itself worth the stay! Good breakfast basket delivered in the morning, nespresso machine, modern clean room and bathroom, bus stop very close and Connell Ferry train station 10-15 minutes walk.”
“Lovely location convenient to the ferry terminal and town centre. The host Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. Little extras left in the fridge were an added bonus and much appreciated.”
