“Restaurant is still good and well maintained but room and all the other areas really need to be renovated.”

“We had a nice stay here. The only bug bear was that there was not much fruit at breakfast. I do not eat fry ups in the morning. The only fruit was apples. Maybe a dish of mixed fruit or bananas would have been nice. The staff were really pleasant and the hotel itself was fine for our 2-day stay. The bedroom could have been a little bit more updated, paint off in most places, the en-suite was old fashioned, could be done up more modern really.”

“Easy self check in. The property is a bit tired looking and dated. There was no reception to request an early breakfast as I had to leave by 07h30, so left without breakfast.”

“Clean rooms clean towels which smelled lovely clean bed and the bedding smelled lovely. The facilities are fairly new so my stay in new facilities was a nice experience. The pub facilities is nice and small in a sense of local pub. Small outside seating area which is very pleasant overlooking the fields. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again when I venture up to Skipton. Location to Skipton 5 minutes drive probably 25 minute walk.”

“The building is tired and needs a lot of TLC but all the staff were expectional and couldn't do enough. Easy parking and good location. Room was 'dated' but functional and clean, with a bath (bonus!) and very comfy firm beds. We paid for breakfast and said it would be 10.45 before we arrived, but were there by 10.35 in the end (Breakfast is served until 11am). We had to ask for the food to be replenished and at first was told there were no more pastries (essential park of breakfast) but then……

“Booked for parents to celebrate fathers 80th. Accomadated a last minute change to more accessible room and late afternoon food. They both really enjoyed stay and could not say enough about quality of staffing and overall experience!”

“Lovely hotel / pub in a very scenic location. Beautiful views. We had 2 cottages for our extended family group of 7 adults/ 4 children. Spent the afternoon enjoying the patio drinks and watching the water flow. Had a delicious Sunday dinner in the lovely upper dining room. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed . Would definitely stay again .”
