“Loved this atmospheric old house. Everything was spotless with comfy beds and plenty of books and DVDs. Great to be able to walk to the village for food and exploration. Hotel pool (20 mins away) was okay. Note that it's mostly very deep (apart from a paddling pool) so not so suitable if you have under 8s that aren't confident swimmers.”

Also loved the “no pets” as we have stayed in pet friendly places before & no matter how much somewhere is cleaned you can ALWAYS tell if dogs have been staying. Location wise, it’s easy to get to different places with a car. Loved the peace and quiet. Real home away from home Would def stay again thank you! ”

“Wow! This place was probably one of the best we've ever stayed at. It's huge, plenty of space for our family of 12, 2 beautiful living rooms and an enormous dining table big enough gor us to all eat together. The apartments were decorated beautifully, with lots of attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and beds were really comfy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more! "I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the room was not very pleasant—it felt quite outdated and wasn’t as clean as expected, with noticeable spider webs. In addition, it was quite noisy in the morning, which made it difficult to rest properly. On a more positive note, the restaurant staff were excellent. They were very friendly, welcoming, and provided great service, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. Overall, while the staff made a good impression, the condition of the room and the noise levels could really use improvement."
