Darrow Vacations from COP 1,827,100

I didn’t like that I was supposed to get a roll away bed and they couldn’t give me one on arrival claiming fire codes when the room was huge! So my daughter had to stay elsewhere. They didn’t include breakfast or parking, The cafe had no pastries on weekend or Monday. And the restaurant was closed for breakfast during the week. I have over a $100 bill for what I’m not sure so calling about that and my points didn’t get put on!

Really nice space. Tons of kitchen and lounging space. Communication was a breeze with our host. Any questions was answered swiftly. Will stay here again.

Unique hotel. Totally recommend. My wife’s and I second time visiting New Orleans and our first time staying the Pontchartrain. We are already making plans on going back to stay there. So excited. It’s is a wonderful hotel, clean with great food, service and music. Location is super, walkable area with great transportation and fantastic places to eat.

The hotel is beautiful and nearby all the cool stuff but you still get to enjoy the quiet. Parking for free was a plus but our GMC Diesel truck was maybe an inch away from being too tall to fit in it. I love that the parking garage was enclosed though! Our rooms were great and the beds were comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and had great working AC and a great pool to relax in. This was a 5 star stay, but when 3 of our party of 4 went to take a walk, a housekeeper walked in to the room maybe 3 minutes after them leaving, made eye contact with me, and quickly shut the door. They definitely need to knock and it felt really weird how quickly she got to the room after they left. I went to tell someone at the lobby downstairs but there was no one there and we left about 30 minutes before check out.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were like rocks.
