Step into a living museum where 18th-century homes line the mile-long Historic Main Street. Visit Deerfield Academy's art museum, then sample local maple syrup at farms that welcome curious travelers year-round.
My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B. We were looking for a nearby weekend get-away and found The Centennial House on an on-line search. The Hosts Joan & Steve were very hospitable and knowledgable of the area and it's history and attractions. The surrounding area, the room and the breakfast were beautiful, comfortable and delicious!! Our first B&B experience was excellent, thank you Joan & Steve. Until we meet again, Bill & Anne

I've traveled quite frequently the past several years and I can say in all honesty that this is without doubt one of the nicest places I have stayed. I was there for 2 nights and could not have asked for nicer accomodations. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The manager was very gracious, he even lent me his umbrella when it rained the day I had planned to do genealogy research in a local cemetery.

This is a great hotel for a short stay. Everything was top-notch except the 4 1/2' deep, 3-stroke pool could hardly be called a swimming pool. I should have read between the lines when "pool" was listed as a "family amenity". There is no restaurant other than a small bar that serves a la carte breakfast items in the morning. The 6-stool bar was not especially well-stocked but fine for a quick nightcap. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well-priced. The building is designed with an open...

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the woman I met working the breakfast shift on Monday was so pleasant, funny, and friendly! Would recommend this hotel to a friend or family member.

Wonderful updated king room with a heating element in the bathroom that was cozy and perfect on a cold night.
The king bed was comfortable to sleep on. There was a refrigerator with a small freezer and Kureig coffee machine. They also provided some snacks which were appreciated.
I highly recommend staying at the Windmill Hotel.

The Blooming Inn was great.
Very clean. Great old house.
Loved the motion sensor lights when you walk in later at night. Also the charging cords for phones and tablets is a nice touch.
Great toilet paper!!!
