“Good”

“The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable on all things Belize. The food was always delicious. Room keeping came at least twice per day and left delicious treats at night. The organic garden is beautiful and is part of the food menu!! Fresh and delicious food. We participated in the Mayan cooking class it was fantastic. We also completed the Xunantunich Historical Site tour and Cave Tubing through the hotel- excellent guide and we learned a lot about the Mayans. From the moment we arrived……

“Had a fabulous stay at Cassia Hill. Had a duplex style studio overlooking the gorgeously cared for grounds (#2). The room was surrounded by huge windows to enjoy the lush trees and plants from inside. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful both before and during my stay. Shout out to Aby who was impressively attentive and efficient! The room was generously equipped, clean and beautiful. The property sprawls and offers a small pool with a few lounge chairs, and a large restaurant with bar and……

“The entire staff were amazing! Every person we met greeted us and asked if we needed anything. The room was very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The grounds around the resort were beautiful and very well taken care of. It was relaxing to just hang out at the pool or walk around the grounds.”

“For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

“This resort is a slice of paradise. The employees made it heaven. They went out of their way every day to make us feel welcomed and as a vegan, had zero issues making nearly all my meals while I was there 4 days! The resort was super quiet, blended with nature perfectly, and met every need. Must do tours are Tikal and ATM cave, but be warned ATM requires physical ability to scramble huge rocks and is not for the claustrophobic. ”

“The MayaBella was the perfect place for our stay with off street, safe parking, clean rooms, location right on the Pedestrian walkway, and a clean rooftop pool to enjoy a beautiful night. Highly recommend this place if you like staying in the center of town.”

Our driver was prepared with drinks for our trip and even stopped along the way and purchased some local fruit for us to try. Onsite hikes in the rain forest and floating the river in inner tubes are well worth it. Also worth seeing the Mayan ruins and cave exploring were well worth it.”
