“My room with a thatched roof was cozy and comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower! Staff very friendly and helpful. I ate in dining room a couple times. Food and service excellent! Within walking distance to food stores, bank, some restaurants. Look forward to staying here again.”

“This is such a beautiful property that really immerses you in the nature of San Ignacio. Rose cooked fresh breakfast everyday that was absolutely delicious, and her and her husband were super kind. I also rented a car from Rod, who was also super nice, so I had such a smooth experience getting from place to place. “​We recently stayed at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge, and it was truly the highlight of our entire trip. If you love nature, luxury, and tranquility, this place is paradise. ​ I have to start with the culinary experience because the food was absolutely excellent! Every single meal was outstanding and a massive highlight of our stay. We even took a cooking class with the Chef Kenron, which was incredibly informative and interesting. “The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. ”
