“Very bad food bad room old bathroom sink faucet needs renovation”

Le remplacement des serviettes se faisait chaque jour, accessibilité à des serviettes de plage à l’aide de carte remise par le Resort. Il y a 3 piscines, jardin, endroit de jeux pour les enfants, salle de gym… L’endroit est beau, dans un quartier animé en soirée, des petits commerces sont disponibles, des restaurants également. “The room was clean and comfortable with a great view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have their own parking lot. Security monitors the resort and parking creating a safe environment. There are resort kitties which was a nice surprise. They had live music every night and a great view from the swim up bar at the pool. I would highly recommend Bougainvillea.”

“This is a new hotel I was told, however the reception experience when I arrived at 12noon was not great...check in was at 3pm and there was no one at the front desk, so my bags remained in the open area behind the desk for the 3 hours. “I think the first day set the experience in a negative and was hard to bounce back from. I chose this hotel to stay at for my birthday. Upon arrival we were taken to a room that honestly should not be rented out as a part of this hotel at this time. The space is still clearly being transitioned from apartments and does not give any sense of relaxation. . The room is extremely small with very little walking space. The doors are rusted and I would not use the kitchen. This is their kitchenette……

“If you are older (60+), family with a small child, or burnt out and need a quiet no frills getaway- this is the spot. If you’ve looking for day parties and a turn up crowd- this ain’t the place. You can see the property is “seasoned” and the staff is fairly nice. I will also say - beware of going at this time of the year if you’re a beach lover - there is a big seasonal seaweed problem that happens every year and it makes the water unusable. You have to take a taxi to a beach up the west side……

“South Point Hotel was beautiful! We were greeted by friendly staff and our room was clean and neat. We had a garden view room. The gardens were gorgeous -filled with all types of plants and flowers. The beach is located behind the hotel but unfortunately the sea weed was overgrown. So we enjoyed the pool which was close to the restaurant and bar. “Very nice Resort, Very clean, Delicious 3 course meals. The Staff were very friendly, always eager to help and tried to make sure everything was good. The Beach was washed, lots of Sargassum, but only happens about once a year. No fault of theirs. They set up chairs and umbrellas for us every day. We will definitely return.”

We unfortunately came on a time where the seaweed washed ashore which is something that happens and because of that we were unable to use any of the water sports amenities. This really put a damper on the trip. You're not told this when you book but to call and get food delivered to your room you must have Butler Service or there is no room service. “This is a great little hotel hidden away on the beach about 15 min from the airport. It’s not in a tourist area, residential all around it, but it’s nicely done, right on the water, and there’s vibe is super welcoming. Rooms are basic, good wifi, good water pressure, comfortable bed, and very clean. Nice pool right next to the ocean, and there’s an all-day bar + restaurant. Sat at the bar for dinner and the food was great, big rack of ribs done to perfection, even for a Texan who knows……
