“Our 4 night stay at the resort was amazing in all the ways! It was one of the best resorts we have ever been to. The staff welcomed us and knew our names the whole stay and were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and well prepared and the included breakfast had a great variety of options. We had a beachfront bungalow that was private and right on the lagoon. A kayak, paddle board and pedal bikes were at our place and we rented scooters right outside the resort to see the rest of the……

“The room was right next to the most beautiful beach with fantastic snorkelling. The swimming pool was lovely and there was a swim-up bar where you could order drinks. I liked that guests could use The Rarotongan facilities too such as the pool, beach, activities hut and restaurant. There was a great selection of food available to eat during breakfast. The bus stop was right opposite the resort which was handy. I would still recommend hiring a car to get places quickly. My bedroom needed a drying……

“The Motu Beachfront Art Villas were an awesome blend of "upmarket hotel" and "self-contained villa", giving us hotel-like hospitality and service, while still allowing us to have our own space and cook if we needed to. The location was super convenient, with a supermarket right across the road and a car-hire company next door. For anything a bit further, we could also borrow one of the e-bikes free of charge. We had a beautiful beach view. There were also kayaks, snorkelling gear, and paddle……

Pool area was a bit run down and made unpleasant by tree loppers with chainsaws working whilst guests were trying to relax. Also there didn’t seem to be any waiters or staff around to order drinks at the pool. Otherwise, we highly recommended Pacific Resort, Rarotonga.”

“I spent three nights at Sea Change in a self‑contained villa in the Cook Islands and really enjoyed it. The beachfront location was fantastic, and the villa had all the amenities I needed. There were a couple of small maintenance items that could be improved, but nothing major. Overall, a great place to stay and one I’d recommend.”
