“The toilet had a ring of mold. Obviously not cleaned recently. The tub had pink and black mold also, and was clogged. The lobby and my room did not smell good.”

I booked two jetted tub rooms, but had made a request that I preferred the top floor with connecting rooms if possible. “The Golden Inn in its day was the perfect place to stay. And for me, today it is still the perfect place to stay. The Golden Inn is one of those mature roadside motels I remember staying in as a kid while on family trips. I was in the area for a couple of days for a little gathering and needed a place to sleep and shower. As mentioned, the Golden Inn is an older motel with modern updates”

“Very nice house. Very clean. Location was on a somewhat busy street, but acceptable. Refrigerator is small, as is its freezer. Keep that in mind. No curtains on the dining room patio doors or the living room windows. Just something to think about at night. Really nice retro treatment throughout the house. Might want to put new batteries in all the wall clocks just to make them work. The cookware isn’t the greatest. We bought a nice frying pan and left it there for future guests. Well stocked……
