“I chose Golden Inn because of all the excellent reviews and they were accurate. Nothing fancy, just a very clean, well maintained, old school motor inn. A very quiet and peaceful night. Super friendly and helpful owner. I believe the owner is the staff.”

“New hotel, so it's very clean. Free breakfast and wifi. Probably the nicest place to stay near Eaton without going closer to Dayton.”

“This is a "you get what you pay for" property...Fairly inexpensive, but an old, not at all upgraded facility. Had some odors, soap left over on the tub from previous guest, NO coffee. Refrigerator worked well...but strange note to close the bathroom door when using the shower because the steam sets off the fire alarm. Had the fire alarm gone off, the charge was $250 to pay for the fire dep't call. Very strange arrangement. This may be a property you want to avoid.”

“Our room was very clean and exactly as advertised. The pool was a tad small, but clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I also used the gym which had plenty of equipment and machines to get a good workout in. Breakfast had several options to choose from allowing us to find something for all 5 of us. Definitely would stay again.”

“It had been somewhat renovated since the last time there and most of my issue was maybe needing to buy more towels and washcloths and such....they were def well used and discolored.....for the price it was quite ok....also alot quieter since last time with better "neighbors".....”

“Night staff was very condescending when we asked for them to switch our room as the air conditioning was not working up to par. Insinuated as if us turning the air down to 60 when the room was 80 degrees was our fault. Once they moved our room to the one right next door the thermostat sat at 66 and the cooling was excellent. Obviously there was an issue with the air in the first room when the lobby is cooler than the room. Also if you don’t like a citrus smelling body wash take your own. ……

“This is the WORST INN we've ever stayed at. Not only was it filthy. These are the things we'd like everyone to see. Filthy Next to no towels TV did not work Radio did not work One lamp dude not work The extra secure lock broke No do not disturb sign Very poor breakfast And the worst, sparks from electrical outlet. We will never recommend or stay there again. This place should be reported to authorities.”

“The room was super clean and very comfortable. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool to wind down. I wish people that brought their dogs picked up after them. The grassy areas were covered in dog poop.”
