"It was ok. Very dated and ghetto. My room door didn’t shut correctly. Couldn’t open windows. The beds and pillows were terrible! I think the floor would have been better. The pool was ok. No towels though. Breakfast was ok, Better than some. The restaurant or steakhouse was good! "

"We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay at the 607 Guest House! From the second we walked through the door, I felt like I was at my Grandma's house once again! "We were in the area for a celebration of life, and didn’t want to drive back home, found this hidden gem. Quiet area, clean room, bed was soft, but still comfy. Kind of a throw back feel to the room. Perfect for a quick overnight stay and reasonably priced "

"Check in process was easy. Communication was really good. Better than most as he usually responded right away. Pool is clean and beautiful. Kitchen utensils were adequate. Surroundings give a pleasant summer camp feel. Lots to explore outside. Our grandaughters who are nine and five loved the trampoline, toy room and pool. We would go back again! "

"The room was indeed clean and peaceful, and the bed provided a great deal of comfort. The bathroom was also maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. The staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay, and we would certainly consider returning in the future. The breakfast was satisfactory. There were cold biscuits, which I warmed in the microwave, and sausage gravy to accompany them. Cold cereal was also available. Bread for toast and bagels were provided, along with milk, juice, and coffee."

"Communication from beginning to end was excellent. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner, who was friendly and inviting. It’s nice that the owners are close in case we had concerns (which we had zero).The landscape was gorgeous and the house is 5! When you enter the lodge, it is open and inviting. We came as a group of ladies from our Fellowship. The table had enough seating for us to eat our meals together, and the living room had ample room for us to gather together. It was peaceful to be able to sit on the screened in porch and watch the birds and listen to nature; beautiful views! We fixed all our meals in the fully stocked chefs kitchen. Everything is laid out well and there wasn’t such a thing as too many cooks in this kitchen . Rooms are laid out well and comfortable. A close drive into town for hiking/biking trails. If you’re looking for a gathering place with family and friends, this is the place!! It is SO peaceful. Next time, we’ll check out the hot tub. Our ladies group have decided this is “our” place! Lord willing we’ll be back next year! "

"The house was very nice but the linen was old and dishes. The storage in bedrooms closets were packed and not enough room to organize personal items. The lake view was obstructed by overgrowth and could not see the lake from the house. Expected better from the pictures."

"Beautiful property - better than advertised! Our stay was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the owners' access to the hiking trail right though their backyard. The place was spotless, with great water pressure and comfortable bed, and the kitchenette had what we needed so we could stay there and make all our meals. The owners were friendly and very quick to help when we asked a question, but also very much gave us our privacy for our quiet weekend."
