"Rustic Lodge Plitvice exceeded my expectations & I was beyond pleased! To be honest, I was a bit worried & kept contemplating whether or not to stay here (I’m a bit of a clean freak and can have high standards lol), but boy oh boy was I wrong! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hot water and shower pressure were excellent. The pictures online do NOT do this place justice - it is much better in person. It is a family owned & run business and you can tell by the excellent service (thank you Micki). It is also in very close proximity to the national Park, maybe a 5 minute drive. I would highly recommend this lodge to others while visiting Plitvice & would stay again in a heartbeat. "

"We just spent one night at Imperial House before getting up very early the next morning for our entry at Plitvice Lakes. The staff were so lovely (shared a map and information about the park), and the breakfast in the morning was so wonderful. The room was charming (you definitely feel that you're staying in the country, which was a lovely change of pace for our trip), and the bathroom nice. It was really all about the service and convenient location for us though (5-10 minute drive to either entrance of the park)!"

"The property is at Plitvice Lakes National Park and you can literally walk to the park from the property. Very convenient."

"Really cute location and nice people. The check in is at the restaurant where you are greeted with a welcome drink (of your choice). The room was quite nice. The bed was 2 twins made together, but this seems to be the standard throughout Croatia and Italy? Would recommend if you need accommodations near the Park (10 minute drive). "

"Great location just 10 minute walk to the Park. The room was large and extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and it is very convenient to have a restaurant on the property. After a long day of driving it was great to just stay there and have a nice meal. The park just cant be missed! Stunning!"
