“I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars.
The Grand Hotel Excelsior offers everything you would expect from a five-star resort: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a well-equipped fitness center, multiple restaurants and bars, and excellent amenities. The hotel is also spotless, very well maintained, and the staff is genuinely attentive and welcoming.
That said, the property feels frozen in the early 2010s and is due for a major renovation. The exterior showed significant peeling paint in……

“This hotel was really nice.
It was clean all around & had a lovely atmosphere.
The staff were nice and helpful.
Breakfast was nice with a wide variety.
The adults only pool area on the roof was a pleasant surprise and was so nice.
The only downsides for me were that the mini fridge in our room did not keep our items cold enough. And breakfast is stated to end at 11am, but we were asked to leave by 10.15-10.30 so they could prepare for lunchtime.
