"We stayed at a few hotels in Tokyo, but this one was a last-minute booking — and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The service from all the staff was outstanding, especially Krishna at the front desk, who helped us with directions to the train station, recommended great places nearby, and gave us a helpful introduction to the hotel amenities. It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re traveling with kids and looking for a quiet and peaceful environment. Easily the best place to stay in Shinjuku!"

"Loved the hotel , the breakfast buffet was always amazing and it was in a non tourist neighborhood which was nice . Only down fall was you needed to take a train a hour to two hours to go to the tourist spots , but that isn’t their fault , clearly you can book hotels closer to those spots ! The staff was always kind and did their best with the language barrier between us . Would stay again ! "

"The location is terrific. Next to the stations. A lot of dinning & shopping options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although you can tell the rooms are a little bit of old compared to some other hotels around here, but they do keep the them nice and clean."

"The property was excellent for exploring Tokyo and its wards. Shopping areas were close and convenient. The Tama River pathway was in close proximity to take an evening stroll. "

We loved that there were plenty of great restaurants and shopping centers nearby. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the in-house restaurant served delicious meals. Overall, it felt like a relaxing resort stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again. "

"Location, direct access to 7-11, clean and spacious bathrooms, compared to other business/econo hotels in Japan. Feels more luxe and premium compared to the standard business hotels. "

"Candeo Hotel Omiya was a jewell: Beautiful, modern, gorgeous architecture, wonderful spa, and A+ breakfast. "

"This is a great hotel for staying around Kichijoji -- which has a great variety of shopping, restaurants and even a nice park with a large pond -- or even for Tokyo in general as it is only a 10/15-minute train ride from Shinjuku. It is super close to Kichijoji station (like 2 minutes). It's also close to Inokashira Koen (Park). The rooms are clean and quiet, if rather small -- that's standard in Japan. We often stay here and would recommend it. "
