"I would give it a 5 star but when we arrived the grass hadn't been mowed and to sit around the fire pit we had to stomp down the grass to enjoy the fire, saying that the mosquitoes were pretty bad. I tried communicating with the host a few times and no response from her. There were no bath towels or face clothes, luckily we brought our own. Other than that the cottage was cozy and the kitchen was stocked with what you needed. Close to neighbouring towns for hiking and small town shopping."

"We (2 of us) were at The Lake House for a total of 5 nights. The road leading to the cottage is narrow and remote; but we were not disappointed when we arrived. Property is beautiful; cottage fully equipped; many details were thought of by the hosts. It is very quiet which is what we wanted. We didn’t see any neighbours; lots of chipmunks and blue jays. The binoculars were a nice touch! Wood stove easy to manage. The lower deck is a perfect spot to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine as you gaze at...
