"If you are a traveler/vacationer who needs to take pictures of your room and enjoy luxurious facilities, then cardif hotel and spa is not for you! If however, you enjoy and value authentic interactions with seasoned hospitality staff as well as those that are in training then this is the place for you! The staff are wonderful! They catered to us like a community caters to it's returning residents. Brreakfast was of the kind and quality, that even after checking out, we returned the following morning as a walking customer for take out! Overall i enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of the space and will definately be staying there again!"

"Villa Sonate is idealy located and has all the charms of home away from home. The service is excellent and the property is well maintained. They serve the best breakfast one can ever get on the island. This property is five stars."

"We stayed at FDR exactly 1 year ago and my children still bring it up every single week. The facility is very humble so if you’re looking for white walls and glass everything this is not for you. But if you want a humble quaint environment where the staff makes you feel like family give FDR a shot. My kids (11,9,5) loved the water slide and our nanny Tamara. They still talk about how much they miss her often. Shenille did the boat tours. He was so kind and gracious and took us multiple times to fish, spear fish and snorkel. He even coordinated for the chefs to cook the fish we caught for us straight from the ocean. You see the owner, Christian, often and every time he remembers you and your name and is truly invested is your experience at his hotel. The food: it was different than most all inclusive experiences in that there is a menu and it’s not a free for all buffet but that did not bother us as they are very accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and they made me a special dinner similar to my families every single meal. Everything is fresh and hot as they cook it specifically for you. We did not have a single thing we did not like. The thing about this hotel that is unlike any other is the location. The snorkeling in unmatched. Bring a mask and snorkel. We saw every single sea animal you can imagine right off the beach. Even dolphins on our last morning at breakfast. This hotel and Jamaica will forever have a piece of our hearts. "

"When we got off the plain it was an 1hr or so drive. The property was not noticeable once we were in the area we drove around another 45 minutes looking for the place when we finally arrived we could not enter someone finally let us in the property date where does the gated community then we waited another 3 hours to enter the property as the lady stated it was our fault no one was there for 3 hours once in the property it was not clean they had to send a cleaning crew the next morning all the blame was put on me I was in a foreign country getting off a plane the neighbors were very concerned of us standing outside for that long no food no water and happened to use the restroom but one scene and clean we had a minor flood from the rain no big deal not to me anyway maybe to someone else it was relaxing"
